Applications for the ARIJ Fellowship 2023 are now open. ARIJ is offering three fellowship opportunities to work in the editorial department of the Amman office, Jordan for a period of up to six months, commencing on 01 December 2023.
Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) is the first and leading media organisation in the MENA region, dedicated to promoting investigative journalism across the Arab world. ARIJ provides journalists in the MENA region with a supportive, connected and collaborative ecosystem that empowers, enlightens and provides reporters with state-of-the art training, coaching and networking.
Benefits
- ARIJ provides a fee allowance that includes investigative support of $800 per month for the duration of the fellowship.
- Winners will benefit from the opportunities to join ARIJ trainings and participate in the sixteenth Network Forum 2023.
Eligibility
- Jordanian journalists and investigative editors can apply for this scholarship, provided that they have at least four years of investigative experience in the field of investigations, provided that the application includes samples of published works.
- The applicant must work full-time with ARIJ throughout the fellowship period and commit to completing investigations(s) during the fellowship period, on issues agreed upon with the editorial board.
Application
Applications for the fellowship will close on September 25, 2023. The winners of the fellowship will be announced during the third week of October.
