Information Decision Systems (IDS): Internship Programme 2023

Information Decision Systems (IDS) is a progressive Geographical Information Systems, Environmental Consulting and Disaster Management service provider.

Combining state-of-the-art visualisation technologies and industry standard databases with industrial software, IDS manipulates, analyses and models data to provide industry-specific business reporting solutions for clients in both the public and private sectors.

Intern 1: Environmental science with excellent knowledge of Wetlands (x 1)

Information Decision Systems Pty Ltd (IDS) is a Geographical Information Systems and Environmental Consulting Company that has been operating for 20 years in the public and private sectors in Southern Africa.

IDS Seeks to employ a qualified intern with knowledge of water, wetlands and hydrology. The intern will be trained to focus on wetland studies and hydrological studies.

Criteria

– Honours degree in Hydrological studies, Environmental Sciences and Environmental Geology (or focus on the disciplines at the honours level).
– Must be a South African

– Eligible to register with SACNASP
– Prior experience is not required but can be advantageous
– Good communication skills.

Intern 2: Environmental science with excellent knowledge of Botany andlor Zoology (x 2)

Criteria:

– Knowledge of Botany and Zoology. The intern will be trained to focus on biodiversity studies.
– Must be a South African

– Honours degree in Botany and Zoology or any fauna and flora specialist (or focus on the disciplines at honours level).

– Eligible to register with SACNASP
– Prior experience is not required but can be advantageous
– Good communication skills.
